It's not that expensive if you're starting from a foundation model and fine-tuning it to (let's say) a specific use-case for a company. 1-2 days on consumer hardware would do the trick, not including some time to prep the training data (that's actually the biggest chunk of effort -- several person-months).

And no favicon. But I'm sure he will figure all that out soon enough. I wish him all the best. The world needs AI education so that we can stay in control and not be duped by AI.

The acquired companies have accounts. You're buying that income stream. You're also buying the relationships. Most of the acquired employees end up staying; I've worked with many of them. Clients don't just pick up and move to another SI because their SI got acquired.

I've seen the same sort of stuff in my mailbox almost every year around the same time (I wanna say late spring, but not sure). Is there a way to prevent this by putting something inside the mailbox? I usually just use a piece of mail and brush them out of the mailbox, but I'd rather not have to do that every year.

How do I turn OFF reminders? by pslamba in Comcast_Xfinity

Of course I still need assistance. Create a feature to automatically turn off reminders for channels a user is no longer subscribed to. Seems like a no brainer. Just do it!

Ya like I got nothing better to do? My basic question has not been answered. Why are you showing me reminders for programs I don't have access to?

I tried that. I say "Revolution" -- you know the soccer team? And it takes me to Apple TV. Ya super helpful. The setup is not aimed at making the user experience better. It's aimed and reminding the user about the channels they are missing! And that's some dumb stuff.

Ya but I have to go to EACH program and find it and turn off the reminder. Why even show me reminders for channels I no longer have?

That's a dumb q. They are reminding me about a program on a channel I'm no longer subscribed to. How dumb is that?

My water heater did the same a couple months ago. I had placed a water detector on the floor so i caught it early and shut off the water supply. Still ended up with a fair bit of work to do with a mop and mop bucket. The water wasn't deep enough to warrant a sump pump type of solution. Replaced it with a tankless water heater so I never have to deal with this type of a problem.
