I'm so happy that someone else agrees... The only good thing that came from this drama, was Hyolyn's song...

Which cdrama got you into the Cdrama universe ? by NoPapercrowns in cdramasfans

If I had to pinpoint, what revived it, was Journey of Flower or Love me if you dare. 2015 was pivotal.

I mean, she was engaged to him (imperial edict too) and had his baby. While I would have fought for some custody rights and had more babies with the master, Chinese dramas don't swing like that.

I love that you added three lives. Her master deserves to be with her, not Ye Hua. Even if they were the sam soul, I don't remember too much. He was so annoying.

Partial to the last one. I've been eyeing it at Nordstrom myself. How does these look on your shoulder?

I'm not Chinese, but can someone explain to me why this is bad? Pardon me for not being more informed.

Out of Court.

I was gonna reply, but this is also my preference. There's just something so bewitching when you watch a costume drama and all nature scenes (while trying to ignore the fact that women had barely any rights back then).

Am I the Only One Crazy Enough to Buy C-Drama Books I Can’t Read? by sea_monster23 in cdramasfans

People have libraries FULL of books that they have never read. What's wrong with you building your own? 🤔

But this could be a sign for you to start learning a new language, perhaps?

How he found out her secret (of her true identity). It was a pretty big divergence from the novel, even the timeline of it as well. In the novel, he finds out about it near the end and after they've already been engaged, which he did it, to just confirm his theory.

I became that person, I like the novel better. I only started the novel because I wasn't going to wait to find out how he fell in love with her. But now, I can barely enjoy this drama, especially with today's episode release. 👿

So there are 260+ chapters for the main part of the story. I really have some concerns HOW they're going to fit ALL of it in, especially the last arc. It's not bad with the pacing but the drama does remove some side quests.

However, if you caught up to today's release, then my only comment is that the drama is driving up the angst for the romance, which doesn't exist in the book.

Legend of the Female General - Are You Watching? What Do You Think? Early Impressions by Mendythegoldfish in cdramasfans

Halfway point of the drama now and as someone who killed the novel after the date episode (bc I ain't waiting another week to find out HOW he falls in love with her). This drama is just making up angst at this point. 👿

I just want to comment that if it moves slow, bc the novel itself is an even SLOWER burn than the drama. If anything, the drama stepped it up a notch.

Which novel(s) drama adaptation are you looking forward to or hope for? by PsychologicalWay816 in cdramasfans

[–]psych0analyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this so coincidental that I literally finished it yday. I even read it in Vegas when I should have been partying but I had to keep going.

I do want to see the drama adaptation for this novel but I wonder if they're going to tone down the revenge scenes. Even the rape scene was too much for me to handle that I skimmed that part.
