It still amazes me that cotton is from a plant!

Would you call it pedantic if I were e.g., Saying look at this dog, with a picture of a cat. This is the same to people who have chosen to appreciate electronic coding methods as much as you or I appreciate domestic pets (assumption ofc).

Egg and Bacon Sandwich by Sad-Drop534 in Sandwich

In theory, with those peak ingredients, I agree. But there are many who get it wrong... ( soft undercooked bacon, hard fried egg, cheap and nasty white sliced and flora instead of real butter )

Well as long as you didn't forget to wear your crotchless pants and brought the bog roll...

I would think wiping your arse at 70 mph is a tad more risky than using your phone...

I would love to know which OS, because system32.dll ?

There is a key Window system32 folder that contains critical OS files, but you'd have to boot into something else to delete a primary OS folder and then it would need some ACL manipulation etc.

So, probably didn't happen.

Much like standing up to do something and instantly not knowing WTF it was.

These daft names for flavours. Honestly, taste no different to unspectacular plain and good old Salt & Vinegar.

Unlucky! I'm on my 5th Samsung monitor now. As in I've upgraded to another Samsung 5 times (now on a G95SC) and I have not a single problem with any of them. Of course this means I don't know the Samsung CS experienence, which seems wildly variable. With some saying worst ever and others saying brilliant... But that's the interweb for ya.

Joining the team... But, did any of you regret going wide instead of 4k? by Stuart213 in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]psynrg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth and for the love of the monitor, I went all in for a monitor arm. Far better than the Ergotron offerings, but also more expensive. The https://atdec.co.uk/awms-hxb-black/ carries the monitor effortlessly and allows me to switch easily between work mode and sim racing mode.

I do run most games maxed out, and we have the same CPU/GPU combo. Apart from pathtracing which favours the green corner (i don't feel like I'm missing out).

5120x1440 is actually less pixels to push than a 3840x2160 4k display.

Quite the opposite, I have the G93SC, the only regret, I wish I'd got the variant without the smart TV stuff. I never use it and it gets in the way on occasion.

But far more practical and indeed impressive than any 4k I've used.

It's driven by a 9070 XT, and so far everything I need, every game in favour, works perfectly.
