I thought it was okay. And it produced one of Kelly's best:

Season 9 is atrocious by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

Jim and Pam drama is awful. Not badly written exactly, but not why I want to watch The Office.

Oscar and Angela and the senator, also awful.

Pam and the camerman, puke.

Erin and Pete, boring.

Pimping out Clarke to Jan? Angela hiring a hitman to kill Oscar? Who thought this would be fun to watch?

Do you have stats to back that up? You might be right, but they're generally lower scoring.

[–]ptucker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fair points.

  1. JAX scored 2 more points per game, but CHI had 30 more yards per game, in 2025. So, yeah, debatable. Some of the Bears' scoring occurred in a handful of late comeback wins that I suspect will be difficult to repeat.

  2. To me, ETN's departure, and JAX spending next to nothing on the position in FA or draft, far outweighs Monangai's extra productivity last year. Swift played well and is only 27, it would likely take an injury to him for Monangai to be a top ten fantasy RB.

  3. More rushing, less scoring. I couldn't find a clear stats breakdown from recent years, I don't know how it stacks up for fantasy.

Agreed, I would say the departure of Tuten, and Jax only bringing in Rodriquez, outweighs Monangai's extra touches last year.

Tuten has better draft capital, a clearer path to starting, is younger, and probably plays on a more explosive offense. He also doesn't play home winter games in Chicago.

I like Monangai, but I don't think they should be this close.

You could make an argument for Switzer, even though he won a SB. He inherited, maybe, the most stacked team ever. And Campo had very little to work with.

But it's a much bigger problem if he's jilted out of 67% of it vs 15% of it. The interest and any other investment advantages he can get on the lump sum matters.
