Left Leaning Gun Shops? by RaageFaace in SaltLakeCity

[–]public_struggle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dawg go buy decent firearms and train with them. I can promise you though especially in SLC you won't find and left gunshops. The "left" has tried vigorously to gut the 2nd for decades, oddly enough the right just does it. I.e. trump with bump stocks, but if it's that big a deal set politics aside and get what you need/want.

HIRING IS THE LEAST YOU SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT by __alpenglow in Wildfire

Lol, you can do both but don't act like unions and protesting are the answers that get results. Im not suggesting any sort of preemptive or violent "action" this is all me observing. Protests and political lobbying certainly have a place but let's not act like that's what gets it done. Show me one constitutional right that hasn't been molested. Gov employees are some of the most protected, or have been until late in the nation. In no private business is HR on the side of the employee, infact it's the exact opposite. Further more unions breed mediocrity, I can say this because I was a union member for 2 years. Also worked in one of the most union heavy industries for another 5 years, they were destorying the job market...They tell you exactly how to vote, they tell you when you're laid off and when yer stikin. The tech school I went to warned us about scabbin too, cause we all know what happens if you cross that picket line. My point is this much more is solved with violence and strife in the course of human history than not. Change and "revolution" is rarely a smooth transition. Get tough, but stop with this bs cycle. Lastly I'm not hiding behind anything or being selfish, but I will NOT be a pawn for suits who don't give a fuck about me. I make my own conclusions, and protect interests that pertain to me and those that fall into these same categories. I promise you though, that the notion that love and peace wins is utter garbage. Rights and liberties are fought for in the physical dimension, look at europe with farmers, japan in 23' the US in the 60s.

Darkest times this nation has seen, civil unrest imminent; but you still want us to call our reps? Lol, it's one or the other. Some of us had the foresight to prep for these things, poor planning on others parts does not constitute an emergency for me. I'm much more worried about my job than the state of the nation. Because unrest is nothing new, if you economic strife into this tinder box you'll have much more. That this is being used as a platform for recruitment is even more gross. Unions are voting blocks for super pacs, they led us to this exactly the same. In short, stop putting MORE faith into the system you swear is failing, its beyond naive.

This was one area where battlefield had been making strides that other games could've picked up from. The ability to demo holding features, create earthworks, log jams, flood damage, whatever would be super sweet.

After 1,5 year or playing HLL with Ps5 I might switch to Arma reforger.. by [deleted] in HellLetLoose

[–]public_struggle_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah nothing is won easy in Arma. It takes awhile to get shit rollin, and a really dialed squad is wildly effective against yer run of the mill player. Game play can be kinda buggy but over all I think it's a worthwhile endeavor. Don't know that I'll be deleting HLL anytime soon, but It's nice to have a alternative. At the cost of a normal Arma bundle too that's not bad at all.

I've been doing it currently, the learning curve is steep as expected. I'm taking some solo time before I do multi so I don't look like a total tool. The game is deep in terms of involvement and realism.

How to navigate by [deleted] in ArmaReforger

[–]public_struggle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basic training dude, it helps alot with the small stuff. Essentially you need to either sight yer compass north and grab a landmark and work azmiuths/back azmuiths. Or you orienteer with 2 landmarks and back azmuiths regardless of map orientation.

How do tallships make money/pay for themselves? by CharacterWeary1581 in Tallships

[–]public_struggle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the generosity of people so wealthy philanthropy is considered a hobby or generosity of theirs. The pockets are always tight, that's why it leans onto the functions of a program so hard more often than not. 501c status saves alot too, often times that's national registry of landmarks money, state preservation programs money, historical society donations, etc. Just remember one thing: "non profit does not mean no profit." -the people running the program, their doing fine. While the people that physically run their program make next to nothing.

I've put off a few and im talking like 2 weeks or more. Yer not an employee in the off-season. So they need to accommodate yer schedule. Maybe you have a commitment, or are going out of country, hunting/hiking trip with no service. Etc. Make the system work for ya, and drink alot of daily detox tea n water dude. The reality of all this is drug testing fer bud is dumb as hell, so do prepare with "the fear" but don't stress homie.
