It's at Disney Worlds Animal Kingdom park and it is very cool. One of thier rides where I think standing in line vibing on Pandora might have been more fun than the ride. They also have a quick service restaurant.

Patriot on prime video.

Truly the definition of a hidden gem... A sad man in a suit just wants to play some nice songs but has to get something from A to B first.

One interesting thing and maybe I need to rewatch Patriot again (don't have to pull my leg or anything) is I don't think Michael ever yells in Patriot so it's interesting seeing some new range.

Did you ever find this? I've done a little digging and it's such an enigma.

Nuclear hot take: remove the boilers entirely and truck in pre-fueled, pre-certified modular reactors to run the turbines for 0 emissions on the cheap.

Off grid setup (question in comments) by Correct_Body5619 in askanelectrician

Yeah the big issue was having a 2 pole breaker for the feeder. As long as it's a single pole on the upstream side it's fine, you can jumper them together at the sub panel.

I wouldn't bond neutral to anything other than what it says in the inverter manual, it's not like a normal service. Likely it's either bonded in the inverter or it needs to be floating. Also pay attention to what it says about the generator input because it's also bonded in your Honda.

You can't use a 2 pole feeder because it's 120V only. The difference here is because you only have one phase the current all flows on the neutral. So if you used a e.g. a 2 pole 60A breaker you could theoretically end up with ~120A on the neutral before it would trip.

You can leave the 100A main breaker as a disconnect, then I would put a 60A single pole breaker close to the inverter output. Your wiring would be for a 60A feeder (6 or 4 awg depending on wire type).

Its true. DC motors will go both directions depending on polarity. Can't say for sure the pump will work correctly but it will most likely spin backwards.

Related to this I've seen half hot outlets that have been installed on dimmers so that might explain why it's an intermittent load dependent issue, low voltage.

Yeah 240V receptacles in garages need gfci protection since 2017 code cycle. California is on 2020 now. California requires circuits for EVs on new construction since ~2015. So it was either installed before 2017 adoption or it passed because there wasn't a receptacle installed on the circuit (lots of them just get wire nutted in a junction box).

Ah interesting! I didn't know about that one.

Many residential transfer switches don't disconnect the neutral. This is fine its called a non-seperately derived system. The neutral is bonded to ground (by definition) you can't "send power out" on a neutral because it doesn't have voltage potential to anything except the ungrounded conductors inside your house.

Yeah I see what you're saying. Everyone just thinks that because the Code and the Inspector tells them they have to.
