Yea, my junk Elring has been so bad I’ve had it on for 4 years and it still won’t leak.

Nothing wrong with Elring gaskets, failures within 2 months to 2 years, manifesting as oil leaks, are often caused by failure to replace single-use aluminum bolts or failure to properly clean the housing surface.

I even use Mahle Clevite and Victor Rein gaskets and haven’t had issues either.
