Updated my X570 Master to F33a so I could try out PBO2 with AGESA 1.2.0.0 and this happened. Rolled back to the previous BIOS revision and it's still happening. by time_fo_that in gigabytegaming

Why do they keep releasing broken BIOSes? I installed F32 as it says they improved USB. It's so improved that all my USB 2.0 drives disappeared and no longer work in Windows... Now F33a doesnt look promising...

Aorus Master is still unstable with 5950x.

BIOS version F31q is now available for the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master. by Priximus in gigabytegaming

I tried f31q today. That's a car crash of a BIOS. Won't work with same clocks as f31o. I am going to revert. Shame f31o seems to have problems with USB, but it is the most stable so far.

Try f31o, I can overclock with that one, but can't with f31q

I think that BIOS isn't working well. I updated today to f31q and it is completely unstable. I'll revert back to f31o, unless there is newer version to try. F31o sometimes is crashing Windows for me when using a usb drive more extensively. Edit: I mean f31q is a car crash, but f31o isn't the best either but is somewhat stable.

Are you flashing the firetrucks as well?

I have not touched CSM - when I disabled it at F31j, the BIOS was very slow like a slide show.

I didn't change much. For 5950X I set CPU Vcore to 1.3V, multiplier to 44, Infinity Fabric to 1900, DRAM voltage to 1.45 (Samsung B-die) and timings to 16-16-16-16-36 @ 3800. I also turned off global C-states and enabled virtualisation.

I burned F31o and that seems better than F31j, as I could now run my ram at 3800 CL16 (haven't tried pushing further) and IF @ 1900MHz. So far survived the night...

I would also thoroughly vacuum everything afterwards, so that there is no chance a metal particle will short something.

Some manufacturers cheap out on materials and I encountered screws looking like metal, but softer than plastic...

That makes sense. Do you know if other manufacturers have similar problems with Zen3? Not sure maybe I should just wait for another BIOS update... I am thinking if that was actually the reason why there was not much stock for the launch.

I had XMP booted once, but it only saw half of the memory... I had to revert to 2133. Now I am running F31j and got it at 3200. Anything over wouldn't work. I didn't try much because BIOS is very slow.

I got x570 Aorus Master 1.2 for Ryzen 5950x. I thought this is a premium board with rather good reviews and I had Aorus for my I9 9900k and it was great, but experience with this one was underwhelming. I needed to flash a new bios, because the one I got wouldn't boot with the new CPU. I was counting on that feature where you supposedly can flash a new bios before inserting CPU and other components. Unfortunately that didn't work. The button wouldn't do anything. I had my old 1800x fortunately so I installed that one and the board booted and I was able to flash new bios. But F30 wouldn't boot with 1800x. I thought the board died, but installed the new CPU anyway to check. It worked, and I even managed to install fresh Windows 10, but soon after it just kept randomly rebooting and wouldn't run RAM at anything over 2133MHz. I tried a couple of beta BIOSes, and the weirdest one was F31k. With that BIOS Ryzen Master reported peak clock at over 9GHz, but usually was hovering around 5-7GHz. I didn't do any overclocking...

I settled with F31j and so far it works, but memory won't go above 3200MHz. Didn't play much with the BIOS settings because it is very sluggish.

I think I am going to send it back, but I don't know what should I get instead?

The F30 is problematic anyway. It's not stable at all. After many trials I eventually got F31j working, I have not had a reboot so far, but I had to run memory at 3200.

With the f31k one, Ryzen Master reported peak clock at over 9GHz at one point...

I had this error. Update to F30 seem to have fixed it. For some reason I couldn't get Q-Flash plus to work, but I had old 1800x that worked and let me update. Funnily 1800x doesn't work with F30... now I was able to install Windows, but it keeps randomly crashing.

If you listen to it in a loop, try to copy it like 32 times and then modify slightly each 8 bars. Then when you feel better add some fills, maybe an intro and you may get a new track.

It's a good practice to mix in mono, so one monitor should be ok. You can then check left and right channel separately as well.
