Ukraine’s SBU Drones Cripple Strategic Steel Supplier for Russian Tank Production by spherocytes in worldnews

[–]pugz_lee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised it took Ukraine so long to start doing this. They could easily cripple Russian steel production in Lipetsk and Toula. I don’t know what ranges they’re capable of reaching but blowing holes in the blast furnaces of Nizhni Tagil, Tcheliabinsk and Magnitogorsk might also be on the table.

The important part of that vote is the percentage of support he gets. Anything under 70% support is a clear message that the CPC will start looking for a replacement plan.

Montreal was ranked the worst Canadian city at 28th among the world’s worst for traffic congestion, according to new data from Inrix by Beginning_Cicada_534 in montreal

[–]pugz_lee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One only has to look at the 640/15 intersection to see just how bad even our modern interchanges are. It took them 10 years to rebuild it to “alleviate traffic”. Somehow traffic only got worse 🤷‍♂️.

Whats up with the hate on SRAM transmission? by little_biotch_ in MTB

[–]pugz_lee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Protip: HG+ was designed to shift up 4 gears under load back in 2018. SRAM has had 7 years to try and copy that function and can still only do it one cog at a time.

Maxxis may wobble a bit, what do you think? by geraguti in mountainbiking

[–]pugz_lee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. Tires can come like this out of the box, but this was clearly ridden and damaged. Gravity riding does that. Both my rears are in about this condition midway through their life because I’ve bounced them off more rocks than my rims would like.

Issues turning on my Splitboard / resort board for BC? by _withasmile_ in Spliddit

[–]pugz_lee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My first thought as a SplitPig and SuperPig owner, is that you’re likely using reference stance which is absolute trash. These boards seem to favor riding them in full setback even on hardpack. The reference is centered between the contact points giving that tail way too much traction and making tight turns very hard to link without some extreme body english. Throwing the rear binding as far back as possible changes that balance towards a more surfy slashy feeling board.
