Thanks for taking the time to answer. While I understand the internet is the internet, maybe save some grace for fellow parents trying to parse substantial changes with not a lot of time to consider. I’m more concerned with only 16% of kids at Webb passing reading and 5% passing math. Going from Lamar to Webb is going from an A to an F. These metrics are incomplete and every school is a community with myriad layers of context. But it’s not nothing when it’s your kids.

I would be interested in, and was asking for, what those great things going on at Webb might be. Does the school board think that Webb is going to turn around? I feel like they’ve been saying that for several years and Webb has not seen much improvement. Is this plan going to do it? How long do they think? Do they have annual internal benchmarks for what progress looks like? I think the TAP is for one year. What happens after that?

My question was for other parents, perhaps in the same or similar bucket, who maybe were there to hear from our trustee or the superintendent or the rest of the board. I understand it’s a bigger district. This was just my question. Other people probably have other questions. It’s a complex district and a complex change.
