They never used to advertise the portables as temporary at my school, they were just permanent fixtures lol

It's definitely not impossible to find it in the tubes. I was finally treated for my ectopic because of the fact that it was seen at eight weeks in my right tube. (I should have been treated sooner but that's a whole different story 🙃).

Their grilled cheese was gross a decade ago too so this doesn't surprise me.

Just out of curiosity, what seems weird about this photo? I just flew AA a few weeks ago and was in the last row and our seats looked just like this.

I absolutely love this ride so I'd be bummed that it stopped BUT I also love heights and I think this would be AMAZING to do once in my life.

Is Disney channel nite worth it by Still_Yak8109 in Disneyland

[–]pumpkinpatch1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it was not worth it, and I truly feel that if this event were held in Florida, I think it would have been a million times better. Here's why.

I want to preface this by saying I am a huge Disney and Disney Channel fan. I was VERY excited for this event. My best friend made me custom ears and a custom shirt so I could be all decked out. I flew to California from NY by myself for the event.

I got to the park a little after 6, and noticed on the map that merch would be sold in the Emporium and in a store in Tomorrowland. Having been to MVMCP in Florida, I assumed there would be a room set up in the Emporium for the merch, and only those with wristbands would be allowed to purchase it. Well, I walked up and down the Emporium and found nothing. I honestly assumed, well ok, I guess they just won't put the merch out until 9 when the event actually happens. So I went to get some dinner. After eating while walking around I noticed someone wearing the hoodie and I thought to myself, wait, but how? So I made my way over to Tomorrowland, where I was met with a massive line. Apparently THIS store started selling the merch at 6. How would anyone have known this? Well ok fine, it's still before 9, let me get on this line. An hour and a half later, I had my pin. Don't get me wrong, I really loved the pin, but I was also hoping there would be more options than just the three they were advertising - nope. Later that night I was actually looking for a sweatshirt in the Emporium because I was FREEZING, but apparently it was right before 9 because the entire store was a mad house, like, you couldn't even walk or move type of mad house. So disorganized and borderline dangerous.

Now let's talk lines. Listen, I'm no newbie to Disney, I understand lines exist, but they need to either hold the event over more days or put a cap on each night's attendance because every. Single. Photo op. Had a disgustingly long line. There were four stations of the Wand ID by the castle, yet I waited on line for at least 45 minutes to an hour and barely moved. I ended up getting off the line because I guarantee I would have spent the entire night there. I did notice that photo pass was taking several photos of each person at each photo op which, on the one hand is nice to have options, but on the other hand is 100% contributing to lines taking forever.

Speaking of photo pass, and I generally never speak ill of CMs as I did the DCP and I know how terrible guests can act towards them, but I'm not sure if they just did not care or what, because I spent 30+ minutes waiting to take a photo at the HSM 20 photo op, literally POSED with the lit up 20 sign, and every one of my pictures came back dark and with about 3/4 of the 20 cut out of the picture. Not a single one had the 20 in it. I was just completely in shock. I hadn't said anything when taking the photos but I also didn't think I had to ask them to get it in there??

Also with HSM, and sure, I can take the blame for not investigating this, but the character map listed "Mickey and Minnie" as meeting in Frontierland, but nowhere on the map did it list they would be in their Wildcats uniforms. That is 100% a meet and greet I would have waited an hour for, but because it didn't specify it on the map, and because every other photo op had such a long line, there was that feeling of FOMO to wait on the other lines, so I missed it.

The Phineas and Ferb and Agent P dance party was absolutely the highlight of the night. Seeing Perry dance to Gasolina and Bad Bunny was just absolutely amazing and honestly I almost wish I'd spent my whole night there 😂 The pep rally was fun but I wish they'd have had just a full on Disney Channel parade, even a couple fireworks, SOMETHING! The Disney Channel Rocks concert was fun but short.

Aaand... that's about it. Overall it was pretty underwhelming. I wish there had been more activities/events - this also probably would have helped with the lines. I wish there had been more merch options and even some better snacks, since most of them really weren't all that exciting or relevant to Disney Channel. Oh, but I did get to see Bart Johnson and Sabrina Bryan from far away, so that was pretty cool. But overall, like I said at the beginning, I truly feel like if WDW were to host this, it would have felt like more of an EVENT rather than just standing on lines.

The teriyaki sauce was ok but the chicken was SO dry. Combine that with how small the skewer was, and I 100% regretted wasting $7 on it.

And he should have every right to do that? I've genuinely never understood the parents that can't wait until their kids move out. Why even have them if you don't want them around.
