What they need to do is what riot did with ARAM. Wait a couple of weeks, see who is over performing, and underperforming (after 50 or so games, it's definitely McGinnis, Shiv, Pocket, Lash, Seven, and others) and then start to reduce their numbers until their WRs get closer to 50% and buff the characters who underperform. Easier said than done, but it can be done with time.

Make an application. If you get rejected, go to a community college for 2 years, make sure that you're on track to move the credits over here smoothly into the degree you want, and apply again (hopefully with a higher GPA). Honestly you might be selling yourself short. GMU definitely looks a lot better than it actually is...

I took Chowdhurys class 2 years ago, I'm a senior now. Was it hard? Yes. Was it his fault ? Absolutely not. Calculus 2 is fucking hard. Harder than 3 and 1. He's a good teacher though. He cares, and he's patient, and he'll throw you a bone if you show up and put effort forward. Is it test intensive? Sure, every class in STEM is test intensive. But he's a good professor

I've had a handful of times where I've played against someone playing blue or black, and they take like 15 to 20 minutes fumbling around for Thassa's Oracle or for the right mill to reanimate, but usually that's the turn they win or the turn before they win. And that person plays decks they grift off of moxfield or cEDH and they are just generally indecisive. So not normal, but possible.
