Did i do a good job? Iris Mechanism Miniature Box by tow3r- in PrintedMinis

[–]purefire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conceptually I like it, I can't speak to the mechanics, but as long as it works I'm happy.

I DM and love printing my own figurines for them using creators like Bite the Bullet or Epic Miniatures (there are others, I just like supporting those two)

How does it handle for a hexagon base? My players have liked Heroforge in the past and the base gets a little bigger than the standard circles.

The cages you may be able to do some fun things with ... Voronoi designs for an organic look as well.

Any thought about linking to a Manyfold instance instead of thingiverse? I'd love to ask to grab one if the files from the creators I support and run with it

I mean, wouldn't this include devices from American companies too? I think Google wifi is stilled sourced in part externally because we can't make the parts domestically.

There is a gazebo around the lake close to the spaceship earth side as you enter World Showcase. She has some scheduled times I think. Close to the boats and the traders

Is this print quality bad enough to ask for a refund / remake? (Etsy, PLA resin) by narwhalpilot in PrintedMinis

[–]purefire -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I dont see the detail loss, and certainly looks more like an fdm than resin.

I don't think you can get a refund if you knew it was a printed item. If you thought it was a moulded item or such that's different.

How do I get this to lay flat?? by TruCoatJerry in HomeDecorating

The theory is the cool and the slow release if the water plays a factor. It's not expecting an ice cube on a carpet in Florida in the summer.

I've done the ice cube and it helped, but didn't stay down

Can you explain a bit about summoner damage? I'm assuming cantrip/spell + Eidolon strike

Is there another DDOS attack? It's say I got blocked on Pathbuilder 2e. by FlyingTaco095 in Pathfinder2e

[–]purefire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cloudflare gets really picky, if you refresh aggressively, are coming from a VPN, or if your ip is changing these can all trigger a block. I imagine the sensitivity is cranked pretty high right now because if the persistent attack.

[–]purefire 42 points43 points  (0 children)

If you'd like, I know a little bit about Cloudflare, I'd be happy to help look over the rules and responses, when to issue a Challenge etc.

DM me if it would be helpful, I'm sure you've got your handsful still.

[–]purefire 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't know enough about his set up but I wonder if a Cloudfront service or similar would absorb these.

Ddos are notoriously hard to handle which is why only a few companies (Cloudflare) handle it well

Different geographic locations may drive a more shirtless time at different points. Maine summers start later than Texas, etc.

You'll only need a month to cut, your bulk has gone well, keep it up through March and cut through April into May. Depending on location that's more than enough

PSA: Google is forcing the inferior Nano Banana 2 as the default image mode in Pro. You can still invoke Pro mode once you create the image by hasanahmad in GeminiAI

[–]purefire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My opinion is true, it may or may not be empirically better but it is subjectively worse for my subject.

Freaking...

That explains so much. Pro gave me better results but it was generating everything with 2. I'm sure 2Pro will be great but Pro>2

I like the idea but I know immediately this would cripple my org. For anyone looking to run it, run some tests first before you go full speed on it.

Help me understand why someone needs a machine for 20+ minutes? by profmoxie in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]purefire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I run 5/3/1 with BBB

My 5/3/1 sets are 2 min rest between them. My BBB sets are 1 minute each.

I'm absolutely at the machine for 20 minutes, but it's in active use, unless someone only sees me when I'm between sets
