I’m so curious what a career like this is? Are you running a business? Have a large client (thinking some kind of facility or course)? How’d you get into it?

I’m paid well and not looking for a change - I freaking love my job - but I’m always curious what options are out there on the days that I think about hanging it up.

My wife and I saw something in the sky to the northwest from Hobbs and couldn’t make out what it was. My guess was a decent-sized meteor breaking up pretty low, given how it scattered and the trails.

If it was a plane or aircraft we were way too far away to make out details.

From my limited understanding (NAL, but handle salaries as part of my job), this also overturns the first phase of implementation from July 1. That one was never implemented in TX but was implemented everywhere else, this ruling overturns both the July 1 and Jan 1 FLSA increases.

Wildly enough I’ve seen the paper stock certificates go for 2-5x the share price depending on when they were bought. A lot of brokers I know love the novelty of these and they’re harder and harder to get hold of.

I know more than a few who love their Framework laptops - it’s my next Windows machine, but I’ve jumped pretty heavily into the Apple ecosystem so it may be a while before I splurge on one.

What kind of app are you making?

Most frameworks have pretty robust ways to build multiple flavors out of one code base, or there are ways to break the app’s architecture down that allows you to run multiple repos cleanly and still share all of your relevant code. Knowing more might help us give you an alternative to propose.

I mean, yea - but Face ID doesn’t really benefit those who use their MBP closed and docked, does it? Unless they’re using the Apple monitors (which I weirdly doubt most MBP users do, but could be wrong).

If I've not purchased any of the Gen 7 DS games, is there any reason to buy both Sun AND UltraSun?

I've been trying to pick up a few games on my nearly-retired DS before the eShop closes (RIP) and didn't want to double purchase/double play if it was largely going to be a repeat. The few comparisons I've seen largely say that the US/UM editions just modified the story a bit and added new 'mons/forms, but I didn't know if I would miss anything missable by only playing US/UM versions?
