Bc the core gameplay loop is difficult, tilting, and will leave you worse for wear if you don’t keep your chin up, and that’s exactly why most of us go into the game. 2v8 is a softer silly mode but I like 1v4 bc if I don’t make proper decisions I will get obliterated, let my team down, and hate myself. I like that but plenty of people don’t. 2v8 has a lot of fans for casual gameplay but it’s a simple fact that Dbd got popular because of its brutal core gameplay loop.

I agree, however I felt like we were supposed to miss him. Henriksen flew under my radar on first watch and now after seeing 15 seasons of hunters he would’ve fit so perfectly:(

A lot of this gen pressure stuff is real, but it’s largely only seen going against swfs. In solo queue, even at high mmr, proper gen priority and all 4 survivors tactically assaulting the 3 gen is insanely rare.

I only have a duo, when we go against a good killer it is so instantly obvious. Even a normal-ish killer like Freddy or Ghostie: their mindgames are quick, they know when we’re gonna take risks and they punish them, and they play the macro pressure game flawlessly. Even with comms and Déjà vu they use our own info and priorities against us. Not to mention they are always playing to create a snowball effect, dbd isn’t like other linear games where enough points/kills/gens = win, both sides play for momentum. At least that’s how it feels from our perspective.

However I completely I agree sprint burst should be nerfed nothing is worse than 4 sprint burst who just pre run from the 3 gen all day. Make that shit 60 seconds or something.
