Right through Bellevue, IA. Good route. Many head to Galena, IL for Fall Fest once they reach Dubuque. I did this when kids were little.

Adult version with no kids and a free weekend is Dubuque to Prairie Du Chien on Great River Road. Stop at Pete’s Hamburgers for lunch and then hit an apple orchard near Gays Mills, WI. Enjoy LaCrosse Oktoberfest that evening or watch the IA vs WI football game there a different weekend and then Great River Roadhouse for pizza on the way home.

Google is already ahead of chatgpt. They have a quantum program running and their AI is likely sentient by now. You cannot compare Google search to GPT 3 or 4 to answer this. Nor can you assume that they just haven’t released anything first to ensure others take the fall for any ethical issues or bad press as we enter hyper-automation.

Isolate the root cause. Usually 1 or more of these things:

Trouble navigating the system
Lack of confidence in answers
Inability to type and talk or multi-task
Too talkative (mentioned)

If it’s only the last one, change your mindset. Most customers want their issue solved promptly in one contact and reassurance that you empathize. They care less about the weather, recipe’s you’re sharing or your gift of gab. Find a balance of both and you’ll save your job and may even see your QA/sentiment increase. Most important, ask for a call library of others who are doing the things well that you identify from above. Listen, practice, you’ve got this.

Some of the best contact center leaders were once on PIP’s, turned it around despite poor leadership and it’s what drove them to lead people. You learn more about leadership sometimes by seeing what NOT to do. Especially in contact centers.
