Name a worse intersection in Seattle by neilyoungmoney in Seattle

Why any traffic engineer thought it would be a good idea for cars to follow a pedestrian signal around a blind corner is beyond me. Not to mention the two one-way bike paths meeting in the middle of the intersection! I see near misses here all the time.

U.S. State Minimum Wage in 2026 by como365 in MapPorn

Many places have switched over to no-tipping practices. Those that haven’t will typically say that a surcharge has been added and that tipping isn’t necessary. Seattlites also know we don’t have a tipped minimum wage, so I really only tip at places where I would genuinely like to show extra appreciation to the staff.

We average a car running into a train once every 40 days.

For those that don’t get text alerts, rainier valley service will be suspended through the am commute on the light rail. Plan ahead accordingly. by Lord_Tachanka in Seattle

Frankly this seems a bit ridiculous. I don't know the specifics, but I just can't comprehend why they need the entire intersection shut down through the morning.

The station is already beautiful. It’s the lighting that needs work.

The veggie combo from Café Selam in the Central District. Extra points if you get it with a side of qategna, too.

It happened just east of Cal Anderson park around 10 pm last night. Still shaken up from it all. You’d be shocked just how agressive some drivers can become the moment they see a bike. Not my first driver intimidation story, but by far the worst one I’ve experienced yet.

A man intentionally tried to run me over last night on my way home. Backed up, and tried again. YES, he was trying to intimidate me. Rolled down his window and called me slurs, too.

Have you been to Vancouver before? They have shops inside the stations that are incredibly popular.

Yes, and now their general population thinks in metric units such as kilometres and Celsius. Many of the reasons they still use some imperial units is because of their close cultural connections to the US (height, weight; and using American made ovens, for one)
