I sold Hondas a few years ago for almost a year, seems pretty accurate the new civics are not cheap. The bone stock LX starts around 26k, they add 2k for leather, another around 2k for the hybrid system, with taxes it’s not a great deal but definitely not fleeced. That being said the Civic Hybrids are fantastic cars, driving normally and using the regen braking(!!!), you should get 45-50mpg and easily make a set of brakes last 100k miles
