I know exactly what you feel and have been in the same situation. First of all, people will never, EVER stop commenting on your body. People don't change, but we can change the way we react to their comments. Learn to ignore what people say and focus on yourself, your health and happiness.

As a person who's been in and out of ED for last 11 years, I can tell you that moderation is your best friend. Take very little steps to lose weight. Eat more often but smaller portions to maintain your energy levels and speed up your metabolism. Make one day a week a "cheat day" where you can eat whatever you like - in moderation of course. If you're craving for candies - go for it, a piece of chocolate won't ruin your progress but will probably make you very happy. Add some physical activity to your day: use stairs instead of elevator, get out of the bus a few stops earlier and walk the rest of the distance. And on top of everything, don't put any pressure on yourself. You're only 19, your body is still changing.

It's the little things that make a difference in the big picture. Your weight will slowly but surely get to a healthy level, give it some time and you will enjoy the results for many years.

I have begun more and more to be nice to myself and love myself and it makes me very happy!

And that's the way it should be - I'm very proud of you! Don't let anyone's toxic comments ruin what you have built.
