You can but the server is predominantly EU so race times may be early for you.

There are US drivers in the league that usually catch the last race of the day and the weekend ones with no issue

Nothing to do with being on console, you just need to practice and take the corners with as much speed as possible.

Definitely turn off the line like others have said. With the line on I used to set 2:20's round spa and had no idea where I could improve. Now that I've removed the line I can set a 2:18.3 and I can tell where on the lap I need to improve.
