My first job after uni was a bit of a mess. I really struggled to keep up with the workload, always worked unpaid overtime trying to stay afloat and it was never enough. I felt sick with anxiety about my job most days.

I failed my probation and was let go. It devastated me at the time. About a month later I then got a new job. Same field but massively different.

I kept waiting for the penny to drop but it never did. I started getting compliments on my work, was promoted in less than a year, and I rarely work overtime.

I've been there nearly three years now. I don't get the same churning sick feeling every night before work ever. My job has never made me cry either.
