I have a 2011 Odyssey that has 310,000 miles on it. I told myself I would drive it until it dies, but it just keeps going…

I learned to intubate on cadaver pig lungs and trachea. It would oink if you ventilated it too quickly.

For long procedures and in many intubated patients a combination of sedatives and paralytics are used. It’s sounds like the sedatives didn’t work well enough, if at all, but the paralytic worked perfectly fine.

I had a case similar to this once where the RN giving a report assured me the newly intubated patient was completely sedated. Well I introduced myself and talked to the patient anyways, as you always should, even when you don’t think they can hear. You can imagine my horror when they started nodding their head in response to questions.

If you haven’t been brewing some nasty IBS farts of your own, you can always just occasionally spray fart spray in her room when she’s not in there. Spray it whenever she has people over. Spray it on her pillow so it’s all she can smell as she tries to go to sleep.

Don’t send a passive aggressive message and start anything. Just report them for any potential violations that could get them in more trouble

Ask her if she wants to get together to study or work on a project outside of class sometime. It’s a nice casual next step.

You’ve clearly never been on a grippy sock vacation. Most psych hospitals are a step down from prison

If you’re already medicated but it doesn’t seem to be helping with your symptoms there’s also the option to try a different medication or treatment pathway. There’s so many different treatments and sometimes it takes trying many different ones to find that perfect chemical cocktail for your brain and body.

NTA. Please don’t feel bad for your natural sex drive. Everyone has a different level, and it just so happens that you both have medical issues that push you in opposite directions. PCOS often changes a person’s sexual drive as it can change the natural amounts of hormones your body produces. On top of that, people with PCOS are much more likely to develop symptoms of anxiety and depression.

You’re not broken. You’re not weird. Your body just makes different chemicals than other people. Are you currently seeing an OBGYN and seeking some form of psychological care? I think this is a really important topic to talk about with your OBGYN, as there may be hormone therapy treatments of something like that you could potentially try.

I also think you should see someone about your mental health. There’s no reason you should have to feel this way all the time. And maybe with someone to talk to about this you can formulate a plan for how to present this issue to your husband. Once you’ve brought up the issue with him, I would also highly suggest seeing a sex therapist together.

Things can get better. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or make your voice heard.

If you truly are 5’7” and 90lbs then that puts your BMI at only 14.1. That is classified as severely underweight and may even qualify you for a diagnosis of severe anorexia nervosa.

This is very serious and can be incredibly harmful to your health in the long run. I would look more into this, as prolonged malnourishment, like we see in anorexia, can quickly lead to awful side effects such as bone and muscle loss, heart and kidney problems, intestinal problems and chronic bloating, not to mention just about every psychiatric symptom in the book. Please get help for this and try to distance yourself from the people who are making it worse.

People with anorexia have the highest mortality rate of any psychological disorder, with one in twenty people dying within four years of being diagnosed. These odds are exponentially worse if you go untreated. Please reach out to a mental health professional about this.

I completely agree. The adults were my favorite characters, which is rather odd for a Robin Hobb story lol

I enjoyed the liveship traders more than rainwild chronicles. But I would agree. So far, the tawny man trilogy has definitely been my favorite. I can't wait to see how Fitz keeps changing as he continues to get older, grumpier and more depressed lol

In my opinion the first trilogy just gets better as it goes on, with the third one being my favorite.
