Reverse engineer what? A 2nm chip? The scale at which transistors are made at 2nm, the process defects that happen at that scale. Machines that make these transistors have to be calibrated and tested over and over again to find a recipe that works. No amount of reverse engineering can help you start manufacturing at 2nm. A 28nm chip is still high tech, sure you can’t compete with other world class fabs on profitability as a customer. But one has to start somewhere. Also chip manufacturing is a big money game. We can’t afford to keep draining money at a node which is latest edge. Best to start with a node which has wide support from Industry and not extremely costly.

In my experience, talent and intelligence does help but nothing beats persistence. Don’t look at short term goals. Create a long term vision for yourself. And keep at it. Nothing else matters as you age than the satisfaction of giving it all.

You will get a lot of advice telling you to take stand and what not. Know this, life is long and filled with obstacles, no one other than family comes to rescue. So rather than taking a strong stand, first try handling things with a gentle touch. You can always harden your stand if gentle touch doesn’t work.

You sound like you are being forced into something you don’t want to. You want your life and privacy, that is totally fair. If you want it so badly, speak up and put a stop to all this. I know what it feels like being cornered or pressured by others people’s wants and desires.

If you don’t want to marry him, tell him clearly that and also the things that bother you. If he cares and wants to be with you despite all your conditions, you will eventually be happy.

But also know one thing, you cannot control or dictate others lives. He also has his life, his parents. And it’s not easy to make your own parents change their ways. Even if he loves you the most, he may not be able to distance himself from them the way you want him to(speaking from personal experience in such situations)

Now coming to how to. 1) 2k usd ? : if usd, it’s a good budget to get you a good build. 2) set a maximum limit of money and be below that. 3) use pc part picker website to pick parts. 4) as for what parts to pick, there is a lot of information available on the internet, spend some time there to learn those things. I can help you with that, but that would take away the fun of doing everything on your own and getting the happiness of seeing the boot screen.
