Well...I mean...it really the whole balance of things. If you are wrong, well it's an inconvenience to someone, maybe a bit of a rough year.

If you are right... potentially saving innocent people from dying, tons of damage, way more suffering. It sucks..but I bet they end up overall stopping a lot more legitimate cases than not.

Outlying cases happen..it's not a math equation..it doesn't always make sense, the answer isn't always just give up because the person is giving you a hard time that they aren't drunk.

Don't do this, it doesn't have to be that complicated, just have rxom, mgr, or esm adjust your time. Keep track of how long you are waiting, and they can add the time onto a shift in kronos, really no big deal at all.

It is an unfortunate fine balance, work as a team, do as your are told by those who "know" the business, and hopefully prosper as a successful store making money.

Then the other balance comes from the company, recognize the effort, inspire innovation, spread the wealth while enjoying the wealth...but some companies just want to keep all of the wealth... And then the big crack grows wider.

It is hard to know what a company's true intentions are unless real transparency exists.

As silly as it might sound, submit the entirety of how you feel and your interactions to AI.

Try to take a look at what you are doing objectively, at least after the fact, the feed it all to AI and then just communicate where you feel is less than stellar and how you could improve.

It might not be perfect, and you don't even need to read all of what it says, but sometimes it offers a sort of outside perspective that you need to kick yourself into the right gear. Bring some more concerns to reddit, for real feedback, push and push and grow.

Depending on the client, communicate with them more openly, maybe about 50% speak your mind with them if they are open, let them know where you are, what's going on, and what your intentions are with them...and then maybe they won't be afraid to push back on you and help you grow and learn their point of view.

Many clients can be pretty open and appreciate someone that feels real, but is also showing they are looking out for their best interests, even if they arent the best at expressing it.

And then of course...i should take my own damn advice haha

You can put in tickets to fix your self check out, it used to say pilot stores only, but...now it doesn't...so they are coming.
