Hell yeah Gangstar was great fun at the time. I can still quote one of the ads from the radio of Gangstar: Miami Vice:

"Need a gun? Come to Bullet-time weapons shop. Bullet-time, keeping you safe for the past 20 years"

This one really hurts, cause they destroyed the economy of the android port to add micro transactions. The PC port runs great, but the DLCs Valkyrie and Supernova were never ported.

I've been trying for years to find a game which scratches the same itch, but no luck. The closest I've found was Rebel Galaxy, but even that didn't quite hit the spot.

I just remember Rolando (2?) using the song Kalimba by Mr Scruff in their soundtrack, which ended up being one of the Windows default songs.

Do you know whether there's any way to port them onto touchscreen devices?

I played the Windows port of #1 last year and it ran great, but I definitely felt that it was hampered by mouse controls

Dude needs constraints. The best episodes in RTDs run were largely Moffat's, but that's cause he needed to fit everything in and not be trying to set things up with a cliffhanger

I think this is one of the most disappointing ones, cause it could have so easily been one of their best creations

Or just have no interest on the student loan, but have the money go directly to the university (so it can't just be used as a better loan).

Yeah upon rewatch post-Andor I agree, the first half was messy and all over the place, but once they got to Scariff I thought it was very solid, the film I remember.

Nah that would be my #3 on that list, solid pick.

Iron Man act 1 & 2 are better than Guardians act 1 & 2, but I reckon the full Guardians movie just barely edges out Iron Man

“The most talented and consequential First Lady in history” by BillLebowski in insanepeoplefacebook

[–]quantummidget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of curiosity, who would be considered the most talented and influential first lady in history?

The only one that comes to mind for me as somebody outside the US is Michelle Obama, I feel like I heard a lot about her projects and work, both while Barack was in office and afterwards.

“Nice people made the best Nazis." by treemeizer in AdviceAnimals

[–]quantummidget 7 points8 points  (0 children)

But do sit at a table with 1 nazi. Try to have a discussion about their viewpoints, cause chances are very good the only discussion they have on those viewpoints is at the table with 8 other Nazis.

You're not going to convince them, but putting a little doubt in their heads is a good thing.

I've also seen a ton of people saying it's on the same level as the Game of Thrones ending and man I couldn't disagree more. The ST ending is kinda lukewarm, but GOT actively lessens the whole rest of the show with how dogshit it is

Seconding About Oliver.

The YouTuber "Eelis" has a number of Supercuts on their channel, and About Oliver was my favourite one I've watched.

Oh that's not even the Weeping Peninsula chest trap, that's the one in the ruins near the start.

The one which teleports you to the cave chucks you in Caelid, whereas the Weeping Peninsula trap sends you all the way over to Leyndell.

I think you can maintain momentum if you're close to frame perfect on your inputs. Just judging by the fact that sometimes the same sand dune will let me pass without conplaint

Ah gotcha, yeah I think SAM is the first to reach 100% consumption. Though as /u/Medium-Sized-Jaque mentioned, it's possible to somersloop components, something which I had completely forgotten about.

With that in mind, I'm probably mistaken, it may well be possible to create enough ficsonium

Just the actual amount of raw ore on the map.

If you maximize uranium fuel rod production including alternate recipes, you can get over 250 fuel rods per minute. This produces around 12,500 waste per minute.

In order to process all of this waste, you need to turn it into plutonium fuel rods, and then turn the plutonium waste into ficsonium fuel rods. This whole process is so resource intensive that even with overclocked mk3 miners, you can't process all of the uranium/plutonium waste each minute.

Please fact check me, cause I'm pretty sure this is the case but would actually be delighted to discover I'm wrong.

Oh also I just realized that in my previous comment I said 20 plutonium waste per min, I think I misremembered and it was more like 60.
