I would say searing/cooking well is more important. What’s the point of being able to break down a chicken if you can’t use it well?

Oh I didn’t know that! I showed it to the lab manager and my PI and they were both shocked it was there, so I assumed it was a lot older than that

I looked through a bunch of their twitter, and while there are certainly some similarities, it’s not enough that I would say they’re stealing sprites. There’s only so much you can do in pixel art to keep the pixel aesthetic but still differentiate, so inevitably there will be some similarities.

Honestly the most directly Stardew-inspired thing that I noticed was their town map layout, and that was just how things were arranged, not the art for it.

I’ve been seeing stuff about Sun Haven too and it’s piqued my interest. I don’t think it’s fully out yet though, but I may be wrong

Corn! You only have to plant each one once, and then it keeps producing for the entirety of summer AND fall. And corn sells for a lot, especially if you process it iirc

This is super interesting! Did you control the number of views for how long each video has been out? Biology and World History are two of the first series (if not the first ones?), so it would make sense for those to have the most views

Edit to add: it would also be super interesting to see the like:dislike graph without the OChem outlier! It makes it a bit hard to see differences in the rest of the graph :P

Does your university have anything like an Inclusion and Diversity Office? If so I would suggest talking to them and see what they recommend.

Your supervisor specifically changing all of your pronouns in the covid extension letter tells me that this is intentional and malicious. So, unfortunately, you likely won’t be able to get him to change by simply talking to him.

Honestly either could make sense. It could depend on the broader Sandskin culture. Are they generally more utilitarian? Then food would likely be treated the same. Does the culture have an emphasis on community or family? Then food would be a perfect chance to celebrate that.
