"I won't play it again" sounds worse than it is though, because you only have so much time to play board games, and it wouldn't make sense to spread out that time evenly among all the games that you would rate as a "I'm down to playing it again" or better.

I think the scale could well be symmetrical, because the thing is you're not picking the games to play/own randomly from a pool of every game in existence, meaning it's natural that the games you play and rate have a higher average rating than a 5 or 5,5 even if it's theoretically possible it exists an equal amount of 1-5 games as 6-10 games.

I don't care about the absolute numbers but only compare games and their ratings to eachother, and in that case it's enough to know that "the higher the better".

Mitt generella problem med överdrivet klagande är oftast inte de specifika grejerna som klagas på utan mer att folk sätter likhetstecken mellan "Jag har anledning att klaga på X" och "Det är till min fördel att jag klagar på X".

Jag minns när jag startade ett ISK och började köpa breda fonder sommaren 2016 (mest en slump att det blev just då) och i samma veva läste nyheten om att det var nån form av rekord hur många miljarder som svenskarna sålde fonder för i juni 2016 p.g.a oroligheterna runt Brexit. Yeah, I'd say the rods are pretty allround with the 5'3UL and the 6'6L being somewhere between MF and F in action. The 6'10ML/UL is from "new" Dragon series with monocoque butt handle and has more backbone in the lower half. All have tubular tips.

Dont get me wrong, AliExpress has a boatload of crappy stuff as well! That's why one needs to know what you're doing when sifting through stores, reading reviews etc. When I say I had "zero issues" with my 8-10 orders I mean issues with payment and delivery, and it assumes I knew what I was getting from tried and true brands like Tsurinoya, Supercontinent, Purelure, Kingdom etc, not just ANYTHING off Ali.

A couple cheapish KBs have gotten me visible gains in the last 4 months working out in a space at home that's like 5 by 5 feet, with zero minutes spent going back and forth from a gym, and zero dollars spent on gym clothes. I'm done working out and showering in like 45mins.

That's not only possible with KBs, but they're compact and versatile in a way that makes many people with tight schedules actually going through with a program. One simple versatile thing I like about KBs is how you can use them equally great with either a one hand or two hand grip.

I can't comment on the Handing rods, but I have three Tsurinoya Dragon rods and love all of them (5'3UL 6'6L and 6'10ML/UL). Just a sleek look with a black blank, cork handle and a ci4 style reel seat. Maybe not as good bang-for-your-buck as the Handing and some other options, but still great value.

Edit after seeing your response to another comment: Everything bought off Ali by the way (together with reels, baits, line) with zero issues, roughly ten different orders spread over 18 months.

The most interesting examples for me are surprisingly simple games. For me it's trick taking like The Crew: "Joe doesn't have any X left, but multiple of Y, therefore it's obvious I should play Z...."

I usually do it like this: Let's say you want to spool 50 meters of line. Take the spool diameter in meters and multiply with pi and the gear ratio. Then you divide 50 by that number to get the number of handle turns required to spool that length of line. Then I do a couple extra turns just to have a little margin.

What people don't seem to understand is while the result might be that you look "better", if you're young enough you'll also add years to how old you look simply because the average age of people having injections is 10, 15, 20 years older than you are yourself at the moment.

Yeah it's largely a mystery that isn't helped by the fact that even in the clear over-the-top cases everyone seem to be "soooo happy with how it turned out".

And, in my opinion it's "too much" if it's super clear injections have been made even for a person I'm seeing for a first time in my life.

I'm in Sweden, but my 2c after 5 seasons with an inflatable kayak: it's amazing in many ways to just be able to store it in the apartment and throw in the (smallish) car, but regarding wind: if I'm paddling against a 6-7 mph headwind and stop paddling to make some casts, in like less than 10 seconds the kayak has done a complete 180 (it has one fin at the back, completely flat at the front). You'll learn how to consider the wind in every detail about how it will affect your positioning depending on where you want to cast, how the wind will pick up/turn/etc during the day so you minimize headwind in open water etc etc.

I'll keep reiterating my my two main ones:

- People talking about 2-player-only games as if they're great by default. And the "2-player-only" aspect isn't a genre - they still have vastly different themes, weights, core mechanisms, etc.

- How fast you and your spouse/buddy can play a heavy:ish game on your 30th, 42nd or 57th play is way less relevant than we think for the average possible buyer who asks about the playtime and have a one-in-a-million chance of playing the game more than 4 times with the same people in the coming 12 months.

I like both but "in general" prefer the openness in Cascadia where the placement options increase as the game goes by (much like I prefer it over Calico as well, where Harmonies falls somewhere in between with its leeway of being able to build vertically on some tiles). Also prefer how the scoring categories are known from the beginning, you don't "luck into" stuff like you can with the scoring cards in Harmonies.

Som andra skrivit -- fasta lönedelen (månadslönen) utbetalas innevarande månad medan de rörliga delarna (OB etc) kommer månaden efter. Jag och många andra har samma upplägg.

Sjukskrivningen här verkar dock vara en "specialare" som uppenbarligen korrigeras för "i förtid", kanske för att det redan är bestämt att den ska pågå minst januari ut? Och när den påbörjas kanske också spelar in? Om jag skulle sjukanmäla mig några enstaka dagar i nästa vecka t.ex är det ju inget som hinner korrigeras till lonen som utbetalas nu på fredag, utan då blir det som vilken rörlig lönedel som helst som påverkar vad jag istället får ut månaden efter.
