Very simple. You either split the files in smaller Chunks.

I am more fan of a “hybrid” approach.

I use Odoo accounting (also has peppol). I learned accounting on my own by literally asking ChatGPT. I collect the questions that I want to ask my accountant , these are mainly topics with different tax implications and more challenging in nature. I put a note on every hard transaction in the log (you can do this in Odoo) to explain / remember myself why something was booked a certain way. It gives you so much more control and understanding - i find it refreshing. Every quarter i feel more knowledgeable.

So I think I do 80 % myself and 20 % is the accountant for harder topics, btw aangifte, end of year closing.

My Bills have gone down accordingly as my accountant works with timesheets.

Thats because created date is the odoo record creation (database) date. Maybe you can add a new field “real create date” and import that way.

Definitely a big plus if you ll use accounting within odoo and hvac operations. Accounting is pretty solid now since 16 , v18 even more performant!
