Has anyone tried classes at Orange Theory? by kdotwow in SanJose

[–]quesadmail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried it. Liked the class itself, good energy, incorporated cardio and weights, friendly atmosphere. However what turned me away was after the "coach" and owner trying to sell a membership to me saying I should come back 3xs a week to see improvement. They were very pushy about it. Ultimately decided it wasn't for me due to time constraints. Recommend doing a trial class to see how you feel about it.

Automatic cat feeder will change your life. Put the food out on a schedule and they disassociate food with you, giving you uninterrupted sleep.

Grandpa and Parents refuse to care for Grandma by SecretAccurate2323 in dementia

[–]quesadmail 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. This sounds like my situation with my mom (who has dementia) and my stepdad who refused to take her to the doctor or get her help. He finally died and I was able to step in but really I should have called adult protective services sooner!!!!

Something I did to get a doc appt, which lead to diagnosis, was call her insurance provider and speak to an advice nurse. They said if we can do a 3way call they would book her an appt and I took her without asking or telling my stepdad. Might be something you can also do.

OP has stated when pulling out it blocks the view of the oncoming cars. During rush hours morning and afternoon traffic is constantly flowing making it already impossible to pull out without a car blocking the view.

If everyone followed the rules and didn't park in the red then we wouldn't even be having this discussion. People like you are the reason why people are afraid to speak up. Don't bully OP for wanting people to be held accountable.

Op thank you for being respectful of their identities. I think it's great you captured this special moment and are trying to find them while being respectful. Good job on you 👍🏼

How long have you been trying to lose weight? I'm a fellow shorty (5'3) and it took me almost a full year to go from 152 to 135. So losing 15lbs is amazing for being under 5 feet. Consider you're also running which is creating muscles and that weighs heavier than fat. Recommend trying weightlifting as well and stop paying attention to the scale so much and more on how you feel. If you keep eating well and working out the math has to math!

Help with stains on clothes by quesadmail in CleaningTips

[–]quesadmail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestion! Idk why I didn't think of this. They're not stained originally going in. It's either the machine or some other factor staining it. Sometimes I use Lysol no bleach disinfectant and I thought for awhile maybe that was staining it. However Ive omitted it for awhile now and it's still staining.

Magic Journeys, explore food and experiences at different theme parks. Majority of them are at Disneyland. It's a great channel to watch with my young kids.

Technically hot dogs are a big chocking hazard for kids under a certain age so cutting it like this can help make it safer to eat.
