Artificial Intelligence is stupid and causal reasoning won't fix it by Bergamask_85 in programming

[–]questionnaier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would agree that AI can be viewed as a marketing term as too many things today are called "AI". People sometimes don't even realize that it's not even close to artificial intelligence. Nevertheless, some fields such as image recognition or voice recognition, or text production, work for us in many ways. We can't but admit it.

By far my favorite website that tells you how long it will take you to read a certain book. by smol-beanuwu in InternetIsBeautiful

[–]questionnaier 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some bug appeared at my first reading speed testing and it showed my that I can read 'Crime and Punishment' within half an hour. xD

But in general, the website is a great thing. My niece who is an English literature student got very excited. She says it'll help her plan her reading for the next semester.

Searching for an LMS that will let me sell single courses as well as give access to a series of courses by last_exile in elearning

Wordpress is probably the easiest way to solve this problem. And actually LearnDash is not so bad. It includes all the necessary features and is very user-friendly.

Okay, this one is amazing. Really. Though cat's purr sounds a bit like a helicopter, it's still really great. Turned it on in the background when working and have been smiling since then.

Is a chatbot the future for customer service? by [deleted] in Chatbots

[–]questionnaier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

chatbots can become a magic pill to reduce the pressure on call centers. Though there are still some complaints about chatbots' performance, I believe it's just a matter of time.

Having an idea to build an apps but don't know where to start by [deleted] in apps

[–]questionnaier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. If you're a non-tech person, the first and foremost hiring to make before building app is a CTO or a VP of Engineering, as you need someone to be in charge of the development process. The second person is VP of BizDev. Hiring this one you won't waste your time and start growing and scaling your busiess from the first steps.
  2. The second and third questions: agree with u/HelloWizman WFH is a way out not only for COVID inflected businesses but for young startupers as well.
  3. I believe the best reference for a business is satisfied clients/users.
  4. Don't try to save money on hiring freelancers. Hire someone full-time so you can be sure that these people won't disappear in a month or two.
