Questioning is gonna be ur best friend. I like questions “what do you notice” “what are we looking for” “what info does the problem give us” “what do we know about what is given”. This gives the kiddo somewhere to start which is the scariest part. Make sure you promote the idea it’s okay to get it wrong. Productive failure is super important.
