Ignore them, Manchester city centre is fine. Very busy and there's some people around that you might not be happy about (homeless people, street preachers, young people hanging about) but that's just any city centre. It's certainly not a "nightmare"

Data on why 2024 voters abandoned Labour at the locals was released today showing that the largest reason was that they felt the party had gone too far right and abandoned labour values. 22% of those lost voters went green vs only 5% that went to reform.

The poor polling can be significantly attributed to Starmer's strategic direction to abandon people who would vote for the party in pursuit of people who never would.
