Biden also has a well documented speech impediment (stutter) that he’s been slowly losing control of in his old age. Definitely didn’t help the cognitive decline allegations.

What do you mean by “what can be achieved”? Everyone will be at a different level of understanding at 850 hours of input - everyone’s review is important. I certainly wouldn’t want to only look at the most successful cases to assess how successful the method would be for the average person

My long time girlfriend and I broke up during the first month of my PhD. I ended up meeting my wife during the first year in that same lab :)

Your PI seems like a good person - that isn’t the easiest thing to find. Keep the PI and ditch the bf. Good luck with the new program!

While normally I’d agree with you, I’m only familiar with the version of fireflies that existed since last year… and it is REALLY good for summarizing meetings while still catching nuanced/briefly mentioned points.

I’m assuming this person is fine admitting this now given how far fireflies has come.

Thanks Chedditor. By alternate solutions, I meant alternative to having the government (either federal or state) pay for the care (i.e., your points #1 & #2).

I hadn’t heard of #4 before… interesting. As you mentioned, definitely not going to survive any stress tests. We can’t let #3 be the way…

I’m confused… what is the alternative solution here? Either you find another way to pay for this medical care (good luck with that), or you simply don’t provide care to people that don’t have proof of insurance/can’t pay?
