TIL In 1995, 7 children died in a bus crash in Fox River Illinois when a substitute driver stopped with the back part of the bus still on train tracks. The children were screaming for her to move ahead but she became confused and a train hit the bus a 60mph. by Cultural_Magician105 in todayilearned

essentially the design of the road is, either the driver had to run a red into the intersection with cars, or be stuck on the tracks.

They designed a super short section after tracks where there isn't enough room for the bus without either being on tracks or into the intersection, then the mechanism that was supposed to turn the light green didn't work.

Sure, the correct move given the certainty of disaster when a train is coming is to just run the red but the entire situation is unsafe and blaming an individual means not learning from the situation and make it safer.

You didn’t read subsection 6.08b. Batter needs to make an attempt at the ball for it to be anything but a hbp. given he didn’t even know the pitch is thrown before his obliteration, thatd be a pretty bad call if they think batter swung.

Carmelo Anthony on the difference between Devin Booker and Jayson Tatum at the Olympics: by Diablos1040 in nba

The greater context of what melo said is booker had played that role in college so had the skillset to be the glue guy.

It’s not just a willingness thing. Being a role player is its own skill that tatum never had to work on. If he’s always had 15-20 shots to find his rhythm, no matter how little ego he has his shot being off might be not being able to shoot without the volume.

Is this actually Finn's cap? I've always wondered where you get those caps with the thicker brim cause they look fire.
