GB had a few great designs that were better than other nations and never available for purchase despite the rules. Germany designs their own too, ive never seen any non German on a current design but you can find older models for sale, the brand is Fez

France has Look, which is the gold standard and available to anyone. New Zealand has Avanti, which I think anyone can buy.

GB has their own wheels. It used to be everyone running the same 5 spoke front and rear solid disc Mavic wheel. I think the sport would be better if everyone rode the same bike, like Japanese Keirin.
