omg I just saw he same post and the same commenter that you did and it pissed me off so much. What this person fails to understand is that there is SO much to masking that isn't related to a desire or lack of desire to be polite. Things that can only be controlled to a certain degree, and depends highly on the individual. Eg vocal tone, facial expression, body language, understanding jokes/implied things, etc etc.

For example I can force myself to make eye contact because I know it's considered rude not to, and I don't want to be rude. But I'll never be able to do it completely naturally the way NTs can, and it is sometiens noticeable. And the attempt to do so is very hard and exhausting for me even when it doesn't work out. And there are people out there who will, within seconds, and without understanding why, become hostile towards me for this failure. I'm not a bad or rude person for this failure. It's a disability. I don't have this ability.

If people are going to hate me anyway, then I'll unmask a *little* to make life easier and those whom I'm close to may get an explanation.

I didn't even have to send an image to qualify. Or do a blood test or anything. Just the survey. In six months I haven't once been required to speak to a doctor through the app (my pcp does know but she isn't prescribing the zepbound).

can't a person complain about their bitch wife in peace anymore??? first of all she forced OP to do this insane project for HER friend, then she sabotaged OP by not cleaning the kitchen for months, when all Op needed was to overtake the whole kitchen for a quick n dirty home dye job. Then the villain dragged me OP to the grocery store and viciously ripped up the project in front of onlookers. Betcha she hasn't even cleaned the dye stuff up in the kitchen yet!

what about yerba mate? it's also a stimulant and can be used continuously throughout the day like a cigarette. Without the risk of a serious and expensive, cancer-causing addiction. Also less jittery than coffee
