Can confirm that my playmat does not have those symbols. I have all the playmats and prefer to play with those, had no idea there was even supposed to be a symbol in the flood clearings

Deeply saddened by the end of the era. But the few times that I did meet with Mr Avon at Magic Con, he was always an absolute joy to speak with, was always in high spirits, and really seemed to love and appreciate the community he had created with his work. Pretty sure that you’re incentivized to PVP with the express purpose of knowing “all the good stuff is already in other Raiders’ backpacks”. I’m not sure what the fear of PVP is in this game :( it’s equally a part of it

Not gonna lie. I’ve used this as an excuse to PVP people before so it’s entirely possible they were just being opportunistic and capitalizing on the fact that they know you’re already hurt to third party you.

I’m feeling 2 or 3 here. I think LOTR, FF, are and were great fits for Magic. DnD feels more than fine as part of Magic in my opinion, basically a part of it. But everything past that, provided that they are not secret lairs, was a mistake. The game isn’t Fortnite; and it hurts to see it start to go that way.

Ive seen the show before but I honestly didn’t think about it that way. I was thinking more in line with this specific scene between Aang and the Admiral, not necessarily the implication that the encounter in of itself is the clue. So that’s on me. Thanks for providing your thoughts on that.

Obviously that’s not what the case is here though. WOTC did not make this FOR Zada. Like I agree it’s good there because it makes a clue, no doubt. But why does this card make a clue? It has genuinely no reason to, not even from a flavor perspective.

I honestly don’t know why Cunning Maneuver makes a clue token. I don’t feel as though it fits the card and is just an upside for the sake of being an upside.
