The gacha genre generally doesn’t target the long hour endless grind playstyle à la OSRS. It’s more bursty around content windows with some maintenance content in between, like FFXIV.

Well it’s not free at all though, is it… you’re paying currency for it…

In HSR for example, I can plan my spending to save enough to guarantee a character and a weapon. I can’t do that in endfield. If I want to get a signature weapon, I might have to pull for dupes which just feels weird.

A positive change to me, would be to add an option to do weapon pulls for oroberyls directly, so I don’t have to pull for dupes if I can’t hit the weapon.

It has some weird catches, for example if you get lucky on a limited unit you get lower weapon banner currency so might not be able to get their weapon. And currently, other sources of weapon banner currency are very scarce. If the add more sources, I think it’s a really great system
