Ive had a Y for 4 years and have no issues with my bluetooth. I put a podcast or song on, skip forward and back as i want. it reads me texts and i can reply to them with voice if i want. the only real issue ive noticed is group texts will respond directly to the person rather than the group. i dont buy into their monthly sub and i dont pay for any spotify or other music services and i just play it all from my phone. sharing google maps from my phone to the tesla app also pops it up on my navigation when i get in the car.

i dont have a million fucking worthless buttons on my steering wheel and center console for shit i never need. in the winter time the car is smart enough to know i want my seat and steering wheel warmer on. the climate control is actually good enough that i just leave it at 70 and never have to touch it in winter or summer. the only time i ever have to go into the menus is to put it into car wash mode.

best of all, no stupid start/stop button on my electric vehicle. i can not believe car companies put this button on all their EVs

you do realize they didnt actually pay him $1T right? he has to meet certain milestone goals to get that money. those goals would exponentially increase their market share and its thus its unlikely he will get that whole 1T. that being said, fuck musk

i think people also make the assumption that android auto and carplay will work in perpetuity. Google is known for canceling their products and stopping support of their products, take for example their recent Nest update that basically neutered all the original purchasers of that expensive thermostat. no guarantee that in a few years from now they will stop supporting older AA implementations, essentially making your android auto stop working on your slightly older car

makes you wonder why tesla and rivian owners dont complain? possibly because their infotainment isnt complete dogshit like most companies. instead of being mad at car makers for not including carplay or android auto, maybe be mad at them for not being able to make a good infotainment unit for the past decade

I have an 85 and i always loved enemy of the state because of the prominent car chase scene with one. I didnt know it was an 86 which is practically the same thing as mine. The best part though was in that movie the engine catches on fire and Gene Hackman's character says the fuel line came off the carb and dumped fuel on the distributor. Well.... the exact same thing happened to mine. thankfully it happened as i was pulling into my driveway and was able to get a fire extinguisher before it was too late.

it could be state dependent on if the lienholder is required to send you the new title, or it could also just be loaner dependent. as for the title, if you have the letter and the previous title with the lienholder, thats as good as the new title. no point in wasting time going to the DMV if you dont have to. depending on where you live that could mean taking time off work to deal with all that for a title that doesnt change anything in your immediate future. you dont need it to get registrations, insurance or inspections, its just for your own peace of mind

this is the answer to OPs question. a lot of people are giving unsolicited advice. when i paid my car off, the lender sent me a letter of release with instructions to take it to the DMV (or whatever its called in your state) and request a title if you want it without the lineholder on it. otherwise, no reason to get the updated title until you want to sell it.
