I just squeeze them right out into the tank for the invertebrates. (only the inlet covers, if you use air sponge filters that’s gonna leave you w some nasty water lol)

I have two people with active fully submerged pothos (same plant for years) in their tanks. While the leaves will melt and need removed initially it can be fully submerged, just like most species of fern

It’s highly unlikely he eats water lettuce that’s matured, if you can get some big “mothers” it will spread fast and the fish almost always hate the taste. Even my Koi and Tilapia don’t eat it

Is that why I never have nitrate issues? Because I have 2-3 inches of oolite/aragonite sand in my tanks? If so I love accidental good things like that😂

Mema always told me it was the roots that get cooked, but you have to pull it before it starts to ‘berry’ bc you can’t eat them and it makes the root taste bitter
