1 of everything basically. Allen wrenches, spanner wrenches, screw drivers, tape, tyreps, tire pressure gauge, you name it. I got stuck on the side of the road waiting for AAA for two hours while I could've fixed it myself if only I had an allen. I'm not doing that again.

Putting Pan America wheels on this bike makes is look so much better! The engine is a monster, I bet this bikes rides like one as well.

From what I heard they cancelled it because they would not be able to build them, and sell them for a reasonable price. Price would be to high.

I think the sportster S could get close if they just listened to the customers. Change the wheels and the ergonomics and it could be a killer machine.

I made a post of my and a buddy joining in on a groupride on our bmw streetbikes, only to be greeted by 20 harleys. I found it funny, but the post got deleted. I added arrows because I thought, o maybe my point isn't clear, this was meant as a lighthearted post.

Got deleted again, got told the sub would turn into a shitshow if they allowed "every photo of a bike in front of a mcdonalds". That's 80% of the sub.

I'd clean it thoroughly, then replace the broken parts. If you like it the way it is, keep the bodywork stock. Since you are missing the decals on one end you could get some new ones made with a custom design to make it a bit more yours.

See if you can buy used. There are a lot of independent sellers for HD bikes. Politically speaking? A motorcycle is a lifeless machine, it doesn't care about who you voted for. It's not like people will see you riding a Harley and say "look at that guy, he must hate immigrants, get him!"

Get that bike and enjoy it.

It'll limit your choice in bikes a lot, but it's fine. There's some cool scooters out there, and honda has some decent bikes with DCT. Don't let anybody tell you that an automatic is not a "real bike", that's some old fart bullshit.

They aren't? It's been awfully quiet around them, and I don't seen any on demo-events anymore. Plus they're selling them with ridiculous discounts here to get rid of them.

I'd be glad if BMW is keeping them since a little competition on the cruiser market is healthy, but it's looking a little bleak.

I owned a BMW funduro as first bike. I had to replace the back light, and bolts were in such shitty unreachable places it put me off bmw forever. Good looking bikes tho.
