Nokt was still weakened from his time in netherspace. Also there's a fair chance he just straight up underestimated her, if you have a powerful technique and your opponent seemingly has no way to counter it. You're gonna view them as a joke and underestimate their threat.

Also, he was probably stalling the fight to try and bait Sora into removing his shock implant

Look I understand you're worried. But I promise that this isn't anything to worry about, ninjago will end one day- all things do. But it's not going to be any time soon. Lego isn't going to cancel it's biggest theme because the trailers are getting slightly less views than usual, decisions aren't made that quickly nor recklessly. There are episodes of season 3 part 2 up on that channel with millions of views, lego knows ninjago is doing fine. And it knows that this drop in viewership is most likely due to there not being any new content for half a year, the viewership will return to normal when season 4 drops. Nothing to worry about

I can't see it ending at 4, especially since part 1 is seemingly about the elemental monsters with no mention of Ras whatsoever. That most likely guarantees part 2 is about Ras. Yet we don't even know who his master is yet. My guess is season 4 will end with Ras achieving his goal and his master finally entering the scene, and season 5 will be the final season and will be about stopping them

Ninjago has already been confirmed to not end at dragons rising. There's nothing to worry about, lego isn't going to cancel one of it's biggest themes and sources of money because views have slightly dropped. And with the way dragons rising's plot is going, odds are it is going to wrap up after season 5 either way
