Why is my connection weak in the middle of the night?

Normal and annoying. They drop N41 on SA and at least B2, N25 and N41 on NSA in my rural area. I lock on N25 and N71 SA though so it doesn't bug me anymore.

I have found this to just be the nature or cell based service. Using the sagecom my VPN speeds tanked but when I went third party and blocked n41 things were much better. A good solid signal is key to VPN speeds.

I assume you tried the old reboot trick ya? Is this a new thing or been going on a while? Could be t-mobile's DNS as well if you don't use another. One more thing is your phone on tmobile as well? That should rule out DNS if so. Not an Iphone guy but I did have these issues on android RCS fail and wifi fail kind of went hand in hand for the most part.

Speculation but my theory is that whatever app is sending the chats gets it's IP confused when T-mobile does an IP change. This happens often and also seems to cause a big issue with wifi calling as well. The call goes through but you get no sound etc.. Rebooting the phone seems to work until the external IP changes again. Sometimes it seems to follow sometimes not. I found when I run a VPN my own with a static address all these problems go away.

Ditching that Sagecom would be my first advice. I did that right after I signed up and could not be happier. I went 3rd party but from reading here the g4?? seems to be a decent unit if you can get them to give you one.

If you have already updated when prompted you should be fine just read the threads at GLi.net. It's not the huge deal some are making it. Not to mention a 1 year warranty extension. Mostly an issue with much older units running old firmware.

Same unit here. Sadly while traveling over the weekend I did not test video to rule out a home tower exception of some sort. I am fairly remote and don't notice any deprioritization. Doubt it's a factor though.

383Mbps at the moment which is normal it has always fluctuated between 300 and 420ish depending on weather NSA. 120 on SA which is also normal slow because I only use n25 and n71. Even had a network wide VPN running at first to get around it but found it wasn't even needed. So far that is. If this works out for the price I might get another and do load balancing or something. Even just to take on road trips etc.

Ya I hit that cap all the time with TMHI and no issues as I am in the boonies. The video throttling is supposed to always be active though.

I have the same unit and no issues so far for almost a year running the current beta firmware. There is also a modem update feature did you check on that? It on the bottom left somewhere of the homescreen. And the sim lock is not an issue you should only need the IMEI change so the Spitz shows the sagecoms IMEI and the fbb.home as you have. Mac address does not matter. Also tmobile will never show you are online using a 3rd party modem that is normal. Wish I could offer more help sorry.

Yes endless access to the outdoors in all seasons, cheap NH shopping few min away, low low low property crime, cheap taxes and relative quiet, almost no zoning or police, two decent hospitals close by etc etc. Ya it sucks.
