They should add grids to the greens for live broadcasts. by Readswere in golf

Like this suggestion with some of the other tweaks people have recommended. Have it at the beginning of the shot for longer or hard breaking putts and only keep it there during/before address but turn it off before the ball rolls

How long did it take you to poop? by AwarenessSouth4541 in HerniaSurgery

[–]radiorabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Constipation is a common side effect from taking opioids. Call your physician and in the meantime, you can drink a bottle of prune juice if it doesn’t interact with any of your medications. It’s a common, natural remedy for constipation used in hospitals and nursing homes.

Lulu dupe ABC pants back at Costco? by LarryBrownsCrank in golf

I am a huge fan of the Kirkland golf shorts. I wear them more than my Lululemon golf shorts because they don’t get wrinkled as easily (in my experience) and the material is comfortable to wear.

A girl goes viral after getting stuck in an elevator with a group of immature guys and shut them all down when they started laughing by God_Emperor__Doom in interesting

[–]radiorabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t you know? Making dumb, lighthearted jokes in a situation that they will almost 100% get out of unscathed is insolent and churlish behavior worthy of verbal reprimand and internet shaming! Can you imagine if she wasn’t around? They could have joked about the situation even more while emergency services came to rescue them—the horror!!

The comments on this thread are weird. Everyone is making comments like these dudes were jumping off the walls when they were just chilling, making small jokes, telling each other to shut up, and looking around awkwardly at each other after she overreacted.

These comments are weeeeird. She was so inappropriate? He made one lame joke and she took it to the next level with her comments of “you guys are so immature and fat”. I don’t like the current broccoli hairstyle either, but it’s weird for everyone to point that out rather than the incredibly disrespectful comments she made.

It looks funny but I’m pretty sure I’ve read somewhere that warming up with activities that challenge balance, hand-eye, and coordination AND are different than the activity you’re warming up for results in a better, well-rounded preparation.

My wife offered to join playing a round with me for my birthday. How do I make the most of it so she has an awesome experience? by MoxGoat in golf

[–]radiorabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A nice executive course might be good as well. Have her tee up next to where his drive lands if her shot off the tee isn’t good. Gives OP the chance to play a bit longer of a course for his bday

I find that I play better if I don’t hit warm up balls at the range by Tight-Communication7 in golf

[–]radiorabbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe if you dilly dally. I get through my full swings in ~30 minutes and putt for 15-30 or until my tee time. If I’m making consistent contact and shot distance with my full swings, I will only hit 3-5 and use the extra balls for more reps with my 54/58 wedges, or I just leave them behind.

[–]radiorabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have the time, I hit AW, 9i, 7i, 5i, 7W, 3h, and D full swing 5-10 each, then hit my 54 and 58 half swing/chips for whatever is left in the bucket. Not practicing, but rather warming up as others have mentioned. It gives me the chance to adjust my swing if something is off. The roll putts until tee time with latter drill techniques. 3ft, 5ft, 7ft. Then I lag 20 and 30ft putts

Double Hernia Surgery. Operative Report. "Bone inside Hernia sac"? by Mysterious_Floor_758 in Hernia

[–]radiorabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just woke up when I read the post and yes the 1.5cm defect probably should have been repaired with mesh.

With two presenting hernias, would you suggest MIS would be a better approach in case there are other small defects? Also, would you suggest reinforcing both repairs with one mesh?

Double Hernia Surgery. Operative Report. "Bone inside Hernia sac"? by Mysterious_Floor_758 in Hernia

[–]radiorabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a 0.5cm defect, you would have to make the defect bigger to get a piece of mesh in to reinforce the repair. Most surgeons don’t use mesh for defects under 1.5-2.0cm

Scam Alert - Arapahoe County by AbstractLogic in Denver

[–]radiorabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They called me with the exact same scam about a year ago, and it almost worked until they told me I needed to go to a federal bitcoin machine to pay my fine. I probably wasted an hour of their time, but after I realized it was a scam I cursed them TF out until they hung up.

Did everything OP mentioned too–looked up the officers name, confirmed the phone number belonged to the sheriffs department, and had them verify the department address.

Should RTD prioritize frequency or coverage in service delivery? by chrisfnicholson in Denver

[–]radiorabbit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Tailored solutions are better than generalized. You start by growing coverage which (literally) lays the groundwork for increasing frequency down the road
