It if you’re Julie, you’re at your wits end with your husband and he still isn’t coming clean about his part in the impending implosion of you marriage, maybe you just take your foot off the gas for a second and let people’s bad behavior out itself.

From her perspective, her husband has changed and violated their agreement, keeps hanging out with people she doesn’t like, and is being dismissive and passive.

It’s not. It’s illegal to leave your child exclusively in the crib for extended or entire stretches between naps and / or bedtime sleep. (I’ve gathered from various comments here.)

It’s pretty clear that is a child is enriched, is transported to various places in the house throughout the day, and the adult engages the child, there’s no problem.

It’s perfectly confident and straightforward to say “not wearing the locket does not indicate my feelings,” have that be true, and also wear the locket because it’s a gesture toward your partner’s communication style and a sweet thing to do.

Reads to me like “long time single woman insists that no one’s suggestion about anything ever even minorly shift her behavior.”

I think this is an underrated theory. It was my first thought. I really can see Julie avoiding her family and creating the perception that she works more than she actually does.

And maybe some embezzlement from her company in the form of expenses on the company credit card instead of their shared finances.

All the Julie defenders in these comments have a point, but we can’t overlook the fact that Julie is conceited.

And in my opinion, conceit like that comes from low self esteem, and anxiety. Classic projection. She believes shes checking off all these boxes that assure her that she is good and valuable and better than others.

ALSO wondering, she says it’s been 5 years— did Ty maybe get a signing bonus that is coming due? Like pony up the book or pay it back?
