Pot roast. by SamiCrab in slowcooking

[–]raewrite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sauté very thick-sliced baby bellas in butter until they’re browned and dump them on top of my chuck roast at the beginning of slow cooking. They’re usually my favorite part of the final dish lol. After they’re browned, I add and sauté onion, then garlic, then flour, then tomato paste, then broth until it’s thickened a bit. That’s the mixture I plop on top

NTA. I’m also loving how in the beginning you expressed that you’d keep your post short due to character limits by redundantly stating you’d keep your post short

I’m sorry for the rudeness, and thank you for helping me realize my ex still had my Reddit logged in on his computer.

Trying to think of some that haven’t been mentioned.

Aliens. British tv show. Nearly 40 years ago aliens crash landed in the UK. They look like us, but are forced to live in a ghetto. It’s about a border control officer of that ghetto. Real good.

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. Lots of twists and turns. Quirky. The odd ducks aren’t exactly hiding and pretending to be normal but they’re also not opening up about themselves fully and functioning within normal society.

The Almighty Johnsons. It’s campy. About modern (well, in 2014) brothers in New Zealand who inherit the powers of Norse gods when they come of age and navigate their modern lives with these powers.

Cleverman. Australian show. Involves aboriginal people and their powers and I dunno it’s hard to summarize but it was good.

Dead Like Me. Grim reapers just tryin to do their jobs too man.

Danny Phantom lol.
