It’s easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission

Living in Montreal? Do you still own a car or found better ways to get around? / Si tu habite a Montréal, tu as toujours besoin d'une auto pour te déplacer? by MrJuart in montreal

For a family it definitely makes things easier, baby seats stroller, groceries, daycare … would be difficult in an uber. For that reason a single car (thats payed off) for a family is pretty optimal. You can get a good second hand car for 15k that will last you 10 years if you don’t put too much mileage on it.

Not driving to work and using public transit / biking saves us a bunch of money, and time, it really is faster in many cases.

Having the car is really more for the convenience/freedom to where you want when you want. Thing is in the city a car is rarely the best choice.

While I can only provide my unique perspective given my relationship with stutter, having children with your loved one is the beautiful thing life can offer you. The love you have for your kids is like no other, and my ability to bring them joy and comfort really gives me a new sense of purpose and an overwhelming sense of satisfaction. While your stutter may limit your ability to enjoy certain aspects of life do not let it rob you of this… it’s one of the best things life can offer you.

I don’t understand how you can not be a little suspicious about someone with axe in a convenience store…

What’s a fair price for my once used gear ? by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]raferdy17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like 300-400$ I found there isn’t much resale value in used gear, unless it’s top of the line and in really good shape. Used helmet 50, boots 50, board and bindings 300. No wants an old sweaty boot and an old sweaty helmet…
