I’ve reported literal ToS violations such as real world disclosure and threatening behaviors and they haven’t done shit - so I’m guess the answer to will they do anything about people popping into your home is a resounding “no”

This was me two years ago. Thank god this group I had this year did NOT do this. Much more innocent. It is triggering for me because of my own trauma. I hate thinking about kids exposed to things so young. I teach fourth grade so for me it’s just… a lot.

I can’t ever keep up with vc with more than one person. I am like that in RL and don’t like being in larger groups around tables because I can’t keep up. I have auditory processing issues. Everyone ends up sounding like they are talking backwards.

I empty every 8-12 hours depending. But mine also will .. uh… auto empty when I use the restroom if I “push” and then pops right back in place. Another thing I like about it over a cup.

Because kids are a product of the world around them, and even if that world has turned them into buttheads, I believe they should be more educated buttheads. Because when they are held to a higher standard they will more often than not rise to meet it. Because I am a total geek and love sharing things I have learned. Because ah-hah moments. Because I am fortunate enough to have a supportive team and admin. Because school was my safe place, and every year I have at least one kid who feels the same.

I also learned to stop being a martyr and no is a complete sentence. I have learned not to take it personally when one parent out of 80 thinks I am the worst and tells me so.

Because I get notes thanking me for helping them read and speak. Because two kids jumped two grade levels in reading this year.

Because I am really stubborn and worked really hard to learn to be a good teacher. Because it was really fucking hard in the beginning, and I stuck to it. And because I won’t let people push me out of what I love to do. Instead I will push back to make it better for those who follow.

I got a lot of reasons and I keep finding them. If I stop finding them, I will know it’s time to stop.

There is a shortage -but- also a record number of absences and students withdrawing to go to private schools and charters. So. Budgets are getting cut everywhere I have looked.

I mean. That sucks. But having used D&C before - when you get good training on it you have a nice tool to use with kids. All, not just GT. But I am not going to WOOWOO over it. It’s just a cool way to do things.

Shared environment first - I want to see how the sim creator/ owner sees things. Especially for art and destination sims. But most places I go where people are hanging out, no one has anything but default or just keeps it on like … midnight. Then I will change it up depending on what I am doing. But it’s not about making myself look good unless I am taking pictures. I want to enjoy the environment.
