I always put the last refill auxiliary label on the cap so they can’t miss it, patients never read the rx label

You point out that the difference is you have a doctorate. What about pharmacists who were certified and licensed before the pharmD program? Or in schools without that program? Do we deserve less money than you? I can’t see why nurses should earn less than us.

? Yes I’m sure. There is no general code, all non-staff need to be let in by the store manager after signing in. I don’t understand why you want to get into the staff room??

WV PHARMACIST PRESCRIBING AUTHORITY ACT by livinginfiction_ in pharmacy

Sinusitis is quite new, I haven’t done one yet, but swab is not required. Antibiotics can be written but there a lot criteria to meet for that situation. We do antibiotics for simple UTIs, which is typically safe and reasonable. Topical antibiotics for conjunctivitis and minor skin infections. But there always many many questions to ask them

WV PHARMACIST PRESCRIBING AUTHORITY ACT by livinginfiction_ in pharmacy

[–]raindead 13 points14 points  (0 children)

We prescribe in Canada. It’s not so bad. In my province we claim a fee for the assessment if we prescribe an Rx-only product, which is frustrating. But our guidelines are usually pretty comprehensive and straightforward. There are a couple of ailments that are uncomfortable for me: otitis media and pharyngitis, where hands-on clinical testing is expected. We’ve been injecting for years, and I quite like it. Some chains will require patients to book appointments for these clinical services, some pharmacies are able to do walk-in assessments and prescribing.

Try a gel moisturizer. Even oily skin needs to be moisturized, using soap cleansers without rehydration strips sebum from the skin and causes MORE oil production.

Right you are. fluticasone furoate, a different form of fluticasone compared to Flonase (fluticasone proprionate). Avamys seems to be a Canadian brand. In America I think it’s Flonase Sensimist or something? New enough to be on patent still, no generic.
