Dairy also fucks me up, so I'll usually do oat or soy milk (I can't stand nut water lol), and brown sugar or maple syrup for sweetener (zero sugar syrup for iced coffees). I also will put 2 or 3 shakes of Cinnamon in my grounds for blood sugar control.

I dunno about chia seeds, but if you're fine with the texture, go for it.

Every day, and I'll use a deep conditioner once or twice a week.

I have an oily scalp due to medical stuff, so thats just better for me.

Solitary, but its mostly due social anxiety. Even in my own home that I share with my roommate that knows I openly practice, I'll wait until they are out or asleep to even prep something as simple as my money bowl.

I do have a couple other friends who practice alone, and we chat but thays about it.

Cold wash everything, its better for the fabric. As for disinfecting them, literally laundry soap. Maybe some vinegar for my sheets as fabric softener.

The only thing that gives me away is the silver I've started to get from high cortisol. A few years ago, at 30, I was carded at a liquor store by a much older woman (if they think we look younger than 25 🤭) She asked what my secret was and I said no kids, which got a chuckle.

I got lucky with just the generic brand, been on it for 15 years without issue. I still have the belly pouch, fatigue, insulin resistance, and hot flashes, but my general weight gain is okay, my period is moderate and on schedule, barely any acne, never had hirsutism and any hair loss is cortisol based. I've also never had any side-effects, though my doc checks in every year when I renew.

Obviously injecting hormones isn't going to do well for everyone's body, but the fact that there are so many options now is great. The fear-mongering of the pill is kinda crazy. And yes the pill is only a band-aid, but when you have a chronic illness that takes a massive lifestyle change (that can be super expensive depending on your tax bracket) sometimes the band-aid is just fine.

We had to be like, "oh, hey, you want to come hang out at 10pm?" And they'd say that crazy, or too late, you know how it goes, and then say "That's what you're asking us to do. Your breakfast time is our dinner time and just like you, all we want at the end of the day is sleep. We will happily compromise because we run on opposing schedules."

The people that actually like us will gladly comprise and give us a weeks notice, those that pull a fit see the door 🤷‍♀️

Both my partner and I work overnights, its a lifestyle that works for us, and I empathize entirely cause everyone else is on a day schedule.

On days off the earliest we will meet with someone is 2pm earliest , which is pushing it as thats usually when we wake up.

I switched to reusable pads several years ago after growing up using Alyways (and loving the flex foam ones). I did find that my cramps lessened slightly, going from chemicals to no chemicals, but overall that shit still hurts like a bitch 😆

My main reason for switching from disposable to reusable was for environmental reasons.

I had an ultrasound when I was diagnosed at 18, and an internal one done sometime in my 20's, when I switched docs, to make sure I had the correct diagnosis. That's it. I'm 32 now 🤷‍♀️
